Qualifications for SpaceTEC® Certifications
To qualify for the SpaceTEC® Certified Aerospace Technician® Core one of the following must have been accomplished:
- Active duty or Veteran military personnel whose MOS, Rating, or assignment is/was in the aeronautical, aviation, aerospace, or engineering field –or–
- Have at least two years work experience in an aeronautical, aviation, aerospace, or engineering field –or–
- Are a college or technical school graduate with at least a two-year degree in an aeronautical, aviation, aerospace, or engineering discipline –or–
- Hold an FAA Airframe & Powerplant Certificate.
To qualify for the additional SpaceTEC® Certifications – Vehicle Processing; Composites; Aerospace Manufacturing; and/or Structures and Assembly; the SpaceTEC® Certified Aerospace Technician® Core must be passed first.
